Samurai Seminar – memorial Hanshi Shochi Jhonny Bernaschewice

29–31 May 2026 – Dalkow, Poland

We are honored to announce the Samurai Seminar 2026, held in memory of Hanshi Shochi Jhonny Bernaschewice. This year’s edition brings together masters, instructors, and practitioners for three days of intensive training, personal growth, and reflection on the legacy of Hanshi Bernaschewice and the values he embodied.

Hanshi Paweł Kraszewski

Founder and member of the Council of Masters of the Polish Ju-Jitsu Institute, Hanshi Pawel Kraszewski has been practicing Ju-Jitsu since 1981. His experience includes:

  • Sports ju-jitsu, judo, and kickboxing competitor
  • Sports ju-jitsu systems coach
  • Former business consultant in the 1990s
  • Self-defense instructor at WSPol in Szczytno
  • Trainee of the 62nd Special WP Company in Bolesławiec
  • Iaido practitioner in the Chi Ryu school since 2015
  • Long-time student of Hanshi Jhonny Bernaschewice and Shihan Kathrin Siggelkow

Shihan Kathrin Siggelkow (Bernaschewice)

A devoted practitioner of Chi Ryu Aiki-Ju-Jitsu, Shihan Kathrin Siggelkow began her martial arts journey in 1993. After meeting Hanshi Jhonny Bernaschewice in 1995, she dedicated herself fully to the Chi Ryu path.

Her martial arts development includes:

  • Intensive long-term study under Hanshi Jhonny Bernaschewice
  • Training in Matayoshi Kobudo and Iaido since 2000
  • Guidance from several renowned Japanese masters:Sensei Gakiya Yoshiaki, Sensei Yogi Jyosei, Sensei Yamashiro Kenichi, Sensei Miyazawa Yasutomo

As Guest of Honor, Shihan Siggelkow brings deep lineage, technical mastery, and personal insight into Hanshi Bernaschewice’s teaching.
